Getting There

The Red Hill Nest is only 15 minutes from the beautiful inland city of Bathurst, just over 2.5 hours from Sydney, and a 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Blue Mountains (Katoomba), making it convenient and very accessible for your next escape to the country.

If driving is out of the question you can fly to Bathurst airport, charter a helicopter, or grab a train. Transfers can be arranged through car hire or the local taxi and tour companies.

The road to The Red Hill Nest Cottage is dirt and approximately 800m long.  It is well maintained and accessible for all types of vehicles.  And, as they say of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt...

When you stay at The Red Hill Nest, we want you to feel free to do as much or as little as you like.  Some guests use The Red Hill Nest as a comfortable base to rest at after their days of exploration and activity throughout the region, and others bring books, magazines and their camera and escape to the country for a few days to disconnect from everything, soaking up our fresh country air and all the natural sights and sounds that reward those who take the time to absorb them.
